Our next Shakespeare.

Homework for 9/3

Tonight's homework includes the following:

Bring $5 for your planner!  This is overdue!! Ms. Garcia's class only has 4 more students left to pay for the planner!  Ms. Proa's class only has 7 more students left! Ms. Hoffmann has 10 more students left, and Mr. Delgado has 8 students left!

Let's be the FIRST GRADE LEVEL AT 100% paid!

Parents: Please ensure you are signing your child's planner.  This is holding everyone accountable for their homework.  As per the Procedure Handbook, a student will receive West Wing if his/her planner is not signed!

Reading logs... Students must be reading 30 minutes independently outside of school.  Please make sure you are filling out those reading logs.

Progress Reports and ISR's:  Parents we sent out progress reports along with itemized gradebook printouts.  Students are able to make up any assignment that has a grade of 75 or under unless instructed otherwise by the teacher.

Make up days will be this Thursday or next Thursday. Grades shown in the ISR will be locked in if corrections are not turned in by FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12.  New ISR's will be printed in 2 weeks and given out on Tuesday.  Those grades will lock after 2 ICU days.

This is to help students be accountable for their grades and keep them up to date.

Lastly, your homework was the writing prompt on page 16.  For your convenience, I have attached an image of the prompt.

Wild and Crazy teachers...

We are proud to represent 6th grade!  How will YOU represent 6th grade?

6th grade versus 7th grade transitions...

A big SHOUT OUT to Ms. Carreon and Mrs. Rodriguez' homerooms for having amazing transitions and showing the 7th grade how it's done!

We know that at IDEA Frontier College Preparatory transitions are SWIFT, QUIET and ORDERLY!

Great job in showing Team & Family, No Excuses and Culture!  I hope to upload more post like these in the future!

Actually....

Here's what... I will give each homeroom 10 points to our student/teacher game every time I see that your transitions are MODEL PERFECT and showing the 7th grade that 6th grade is the BEST... DUH!

Last Spring Break STAAR prep.. part 7

LAST ONE KIDDOS! Give it all you got! :) See you Monday!
Miss G

The Giant Pipe

To me, this giant pipe
is the secret brain center of the world,
the biggest spaceship ever, the deepest cave,
the longest tunnel, a haunted house,
a submarine, the home of the queen.
Like a lizard that changes colors,
I can live in different worlds,
Like treasures in a pirate chest,
my secrets are hidden
inside this giant pipe.

Spring Break STAAR prep... Part 6

All your hard work will pay off in extra points! ;)
